If your party includes any of the following, please email us some extra details together with your order number - this will help us accommodate their needs if possible:
- Under 18s
- Anyone with mobility/sensory issues
- Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome, but please remember to pick up after them. We have a dog water bowl on site.
How to find us
- We are easily accessible for all forms of transport – see the map and travel directions by foot, bicycle, road and train on our How to find us page.
- We are just a 1-minute walk from Chartham railway station.
- We have free onsite parking.
What to expect on the day
- The event lasts approx 1 hour 30 mins.
- Please arrive 5-10 mins early, giving you time to get your bearings and meet up with fellow visitors for the tour (Prompt arrival is important as the start time of tours cannot be delayed for those who are late)
- Before the tour starts your Guide (owner Richard or vineyard manager Andy) will brief the assembled group in the courtyard
- We have a small demonstration vineyard accessible for people in wheelchairs or who find walking difficult
- The tour starts in our main vineyard, lasting 45 minutes – please wear comfortable and sturdy footwear as some of the terrain is sloped/hilly
- Then it’s back to the Great Barn or Gallery for a tutored tasting of still and sparkling wines from our range (and soft drinks for children)
- You’re welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy afterwards in our attractive heritage courtyard and wine will be on sale by the bottle or glass, from our Vineyard Shop
- You can also pop into our free art gallery and browse or buy the work on sale – sometimes artists are on hand to talk about their work
- If you want to buy wine to take home but can’t transport it on the day – we can normally arrange for it to be couriered to your home or office (or as a gift to someone else) - delivery prices range from £7-£12.50, or delivery is free for spends of £100+)
