IN OUR GREAT BARN

Aside from our regular art and craft exhibitions in the cow barn gallery and studio, we also host plays and cinema screenings in our 80-seater Great Barn.

Situated in our ancient courtyard, this lovely old building is a picturesque venue for enjoying entertainments (including wine sales in the intervals).

To celebrate Jane Austen’s 250th anniversary year, the celebrated This is My Theatre brings her classic tale to life in a stunning one-act adaptation in our Great Barn. Packed with rivalries, regrets and, of course, plenty of romance, the production is sure to spread joy this Summer!

“It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife.”

At least one of the Bennet sisters must marry well in order for the family to avoid destitution upon the death of Mr Bennet and so the task of finding suitable matches begins. But, as is always the case, matrimony is easier for some than for others. For Elizabeth Bennet in particular, not all judgements quickly made are correct, especially when the dashing Mr Darcy is involved …

Suitable for all the family.
