IN OUR GREAT BARN

Aside from our regular art and craft exhibitions in the cow barn gallery and studio, we also host plays and cinema screenings in our 80-seater Great Barn.

Situated in our ancient courtyard, this lovely old building is a picturesque venue for enjoying entertainments (including wine sales in the intervals).

Friday 9 August, from 7pm to 8.30pm, in our Great Barn - TIMT Theatre Company presents this much loved and critically acclaimed Shakespeare play.

Adapted and Directed by Sarah Slator with Music by Simon Stallard.

With its many parts, Shakespeare's story of love, mistaken identity and magic remains as popular today as when it was written over 400 years ago.

“I have had a most rare vision. I have had a dream, past the wit of man to say what dream it was.”

The woods outside Athens are busy this night. Four young Athenian lovers are lost. Oberon and Titania, the king and queen of the fairy-folk, are quarrelling whilst a group of craftsmen (who also happen to be some not-so-very-talented actors) are meeting in secret to rehearse their play.

Suitable for all the family.
