Chartham Vineyard is right beside the Great Stour Way (also known as the Pilgrims Cycle Trail), which runs between Canterbury and Chartham.

This 3-mile traffic free, route (following National Cycle Route 18), offers a beautiful and tranquil journey along the banks of the River Stour right to our cellar door!

We are just off the A28 (Ashford Road). You can see our signage on the main road, turn off signposted Chartham and you will immediately come to our entrance on the left.

By Bus – Take the 1A.
1A bus stops at Chartham Station just a minute’s walk from us (the route also takes in Ashford, Wye, Chilham and Canterbury). Check bus times and bus stops here.

Chartham railway station (just 6 minutes from Canterbury West) is right on our doorstep. There are around 28 trains a day mid-week, but fewer at weekends. It is on the same line as:

  • Wye
  • Ashford International
  • London Charing Cross
  • St Pancras International.
