We are keen to share our enthusiasm for our vineyard and wines. We welcome pre-booked groups of between 5-15 people to explore our main and demonstration vineyards and taste our wines.
We have a Wine Shop in our ancient farmyard, open on Saturdays from 10.30 - 5.30. Next to this is our Tasting Room/Gallery where we hold art exhibitions, demonstrations and tutorials - see our Art page.
Chartham Vineyard is ideally placed for anyone visiting Kent’s historic centre. Located just 5 miles outside Canterbury, we offer ample free parking in our farmyard plus very easy connections by train, bus, footpath and cycle path to the City’s three World Heritage Sites.
Afterwards you can enjoy a tutored tasting of our wines in our farmyard Wine Shop, led by the co-owners, vineyard manager or trained staff.
Visit our Wine Shop at Burnt House Farm on Saturdays between 10.30 and 5.30, where you can taste our wines, free of charge.
Our grape harvest takes place towards the end of September-early October, each year.
If you would like to join our small team of volunteer grape pickers, please contact us.
Towards the end of October we lay on a post-harvest supper in our old Kent Barn at Burnt House Farm, to thank volunteers for their support.
An indelible memory we will cherish
"Apart from the natural and historic beauty of Chartham Vineyard, what most moved, inspired and delighted us was your story. Your natural and intellectual passion infected us, your kindness, patience and humour left us all with an enhanced appreciation for your industry."
